About FixGo: Our story and mission

If you are buying tires online and want to understand how online-to-offline (O2O) logistics, partner installation, and self-pickup work, this guide is designed to clarify your options.

  • Decide whether professional installation or local self-pickup is the right choice for your schedule.
  • Understand the logistical timeline and costs of shipping tires directly to partner shops.
  • Learn the regional restrictions for self-pickup locations.

What we offer: Our services and how they work

FixGo bridges the gap between digital tire shopping and local, physical service. Instead of shipping massive, heavy tires directly to your home address, our platform allows you to select your tires online and route them directly to one of our professional installation partners.

1. Professional Installation

We operate a vast network of 200+ partner shops across greater Los Angeles and 20+ partner shops in the San Diego area. When you checkout, you select an installation shop near you (such as Alhambra, Azusa, or Glendale). We ship your tires for free directly to that shop. Once they arrive, you drive to the shop for quick, hassle-free mounting and balancing.

2. Local Self-Pickup

If you prefer to mount and balance the tires yourself or use an independent technician, you can select local self-pickup. However, self-pickup is only supported at dedicated warehouses and designated pickup points, not at every partner installation shop. You must use our locator map during checkout to find and select a pickup-enabled depot.

Please note that our platform is focused strictly on tire installation transactions. When you purchase tires on FixGo and select professional installation, the installation fee—covering mounting and balancing—is paid upfront at checkout. This ensures you will not have to pay any additional fees to the partner shop for standard mounting and balancing. However, because our partner shops are full-service automotive centers, if you have other vehicle needs—such as a wheel alignment, tire rotation, or suspension check—you can consult and communicate directly with the shop's technicians to find a professional solution. These additional independent services are handled and billed directly by the partner shop.

FAQ

Does every partner shop support self-pickup?

A: No. Tire self-pickup is strictly restricted to dedicated warehouses and designated pickup depots. Ordinary partner installation shops cannot release tires directly to customers without an installation appointment. For more comprehensive answers regarding orders, payments, and shipping, check out our FixGo FAQ page and shipping policy page.

How fast are tires delivered to the installation shop?

A: In greater Los Angeles, tire delivery is usually 1-3 days (with local EngineX tires offering local next-day delivery). In the San Diego area, tire delivery is usually 3-5 business days.
